🎨 Cherry Stoner Puff & Paint Nights

📍 Cherry Stoner Studios, Virginia Beach
If you want upbeat energy but you’re not trying to go full club mode… this is it.
Cherry Stoner Puff & Paint nights are a whole different kind of night out. Think blacklight painting, good music, and a space where you can just relax and be in the moment.
No pressure. No perfection. No painting the same basic picture as the usual sip and paint places.
Whether you’re planning a date night, going out with friends, or just want to do something different for once—this is one of the only true 420-friendly experiences in Virginia Beach.

🌌 First Fridays at the Planetarium

📍 Tidewater Community College – Virginia Beach Campus Science Building 1700 College Crescent, Virginia Beach, VA 23453
If you want something a little out of this world, try the VB Planetarium.
OK stoners, hear me out. You think planetarium = lame, but you’d be wrong. First Fridays at the Planetarium are far out. Explore the stars, distant planets, or vibe to a classic laser light show in 4K—all from your own recliner.
Best part? It’s free.
Take some really good edibles and thank me later.

🎶 Live Music Without the Chaos

📍 Scandals Live 3501 Holland Road, Suite 113, Virginia Beach, VA 23452
If you want live music outside of the packed Oceanfront scene, Scandals Live comes in clutch.
They’ve been around forever (for a reason), and they book a mix of bands and events—so there’s always something going on.
It’s more laid-back, more local, and way less shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers.
And if you step out onto the patio… you’ll catch a whiff of something familiar pretty quickly.
🐄 Late Night Treats (Munchie Pit Stop)

📍 The Yard Milkshake Bar - 3229 Virginia Beach Blvd Suite 103 Virginia Beach VA 23452
We lied—there is a bar on this list… a milkshake bar.
If you’re in the mood for something a little over-the-top (in the best way), The Yard Milkshake Bar is the mooove. These fully loaded, topped, and dipped milkshakes may or may not count as two meals—but they’re worth it.
And bonus—it’s open late-ish (10pm) on weekends.
Perfect pre- or post-sesh stop. Share it… or don’t. I support either choice.

Especially when it’s a night market… vintage vendors, oddities, artisans, and hand-crafted magic everywhere.
If you’re artsy, love shopping local, or just enjoy the unusual—this is worth checking out.
